The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the way businesses, corporations, and society at large are operating. But what about the individual employees and the lives they live outside the industry? Individuals and families around the globe are struggling with new anxiety, depression, and chronic stress as a result of this pandemic. Join psychologist, Dr. David Gavel, as he discusses some of the common risks many people are facing and shares some helpful tips for staying managing emotions in the face of uncertainty. 

Dr. Gavel is a licensed psychologist in Hattiesburg, MS where he delivers psychological assessment and intervention for a community with a wide variety of mental health needs. He is full time staff at Southern Behavioral Medicine Associates and has developed expertise in the treatment of PTSD and other anxiety based disorders. With a background in forensic psychology and training at the Charles George VAMC, he has a particular passion for serving the mental health and consulting needs of law enforcement, military, and other emergency service personnel.
