Join us on September 14th for another opportunity to network and get updated on important topics affecting the association industry. This month we welcome Tamica Smith Jeuitt with the American Red Cross. 

Tamica Smith Jeuitt is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She earned her BA in broadcasting from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she began a career in broadcast journalism more than 20 years ago. Tamica has worked for Alabama tv stations in Huntsville and Birmingham and her hometown Fort Wayne. Later she joined WJTV in Jackson, MS as the weekend news anchor and reporter.

In 2008, Tamica joined the Red Cross as director of public affairs for the Central Mississippi Chapter. Four years later, she was named the senior communications specialist for the Mississippi Conference of The United Methodist Church. After five years at the conference, she returned to the American Red Cross as the regional director of communications and marketing manager. In April 2020, she was promoted to executive director of the Red Cross Southwest Mississippi Chapter.

Tamica is the host of Law Call which airs on WLBT. She is a member of several professional communication groups and is a recipient of many communication awards. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and Pearl Street A.M.E Church. Tamica is married to local tv and radio personality, Rob “Jay” Jeuitt. Their daughter Madison is an aspiring broadcast journalist at Southern University in Baton Rouge.
